My research

My work focus on land-use and land-cover changes and their implications, with a focus on land abandonment, spontaneous forest development and rewilding. In my PhD I adopted an ecological and social approach to study the relation between agricultural abandonment and ecosystem services in Auvergne. Currently involved as a postdoc researcher in the wildE project I develop quantitative indicators to characterise rewilding contexts and outcomes under the climate-smart framework.

My engagement

I am active since 2018 in associations at local, national, and European level to improve the living and working conditions of early career researchers. Check the work of CJC and Eurodoc, and get involved in the Researcher Mental Health Observatory and the Coalition for Advancing Research Assessment.
